We are a restless family. Never quite 100% satisfied with anything. Always trying to come up with better and easier ways to do things.

After we released the BullFrog manual turnout control this past month, we could see a number of ways we could improve the design even more. So Tim and Russ went back to the computer screens (AKA "Drawing Boards") and tweaked the design to make the BullFrog even better. Here is a list of the improvements we came up with:

• Shorter - We managed to reduce the overall height of the BullFrog from 2.4" to 2"
• Reduced Control Rod Stroke - The original stroke was nearly 2 1/2" long. It is now only 1" long.
• Improved Latching - The original BullFrog used magnetic latching. While this worked well, we found that a mechanical latching system using a spring and ball is smoother and works even better.
• Slotted Mounting Holes - This will make aligning the BullFrog under the layout easier.
• Improved Fit - We tightened up the piece fitting to make it both a bit easier to assemble, and stronger
