Finally after months of research and development, the promised QuickSticks are just about ready to be officially launched into the Fast Tracks product line.

As some of you may have already noticed, the new Track Building Kits available from Fast Tracks include 5 QuickSticks. As there is still a 4 week lead time in manufacturing fixtures, the QuickSticks will be available by then for any orders placed now.

We are hoping to have the QuickSticks available to order on the site sometime this week, barring any unforeseen complications.

The documentation has been written and edited, and can be found online here:

Standard gauges QuickSticks will have a more "uniform" maintained looking tie structure, available with optional pre-drilled spike holes (for HO and up).

Ties on the narrow gauge QuickSticks will have a more "rustic" look to them, reflective of typical backwoods operations, also available with optional pre-drilled spike holes.

anyways------ have you tried prestaining these first? or would it affect the pliobonds adhesion?

Hi Rob,

The Fast Tracks turnouts combined with QuickSticks work best painted when complete, this way it is easy to match the PC ties to the rest of the turnouts, they will all be the same color and help disguise the PC ties. A little rust color sprayed onto the rails and you have a great looking turnout that is ready to run.

Should you wish to pre-stain the QuickSticks I don't see any reason you could not, I have tried it on some turnouts and found the strength of the bond very solid.

The QuickSticks are sold individually, with volume discounts at 6, 11, 26 and 51 pieces. The price per part drops with the quantity ordered.
