Yes, this is something we are working on now and hope to have them available soon.

When available, the flexible tie strips will have several options available, including:

* every tie with spike holes (optional)
* optional positioning of spike holes (every 4th tie, every 5th tie ect...)
* optional tie sizes and widths in both narrow and standard
* optional tie spacing, mainline, branch line, siding or custom
* optional spike hole sizes to match your preferred spikes
* "maintained" or "rustic" versions of ties
* narrow gauge 5" thick, standard 7" thick
* completely stainable
* perfect match to trackwork produced with Fast Tracks fixtures.
* available in continuous 24" lengths

Also available will be "stock" flex ties as a lower price, these will be cut to a standard size, 9' tie, 20" tie spacing, ME spike holes every 6th tie, sizes HO and up.

We are still working on pricing for this line.

Hello Ron and Tim,

Are you planning on doing these in N scale also? I am somewhat frustrated that the turnouts look better than the commercial flex track, I like the variation of the wood grain better.

These are still planned, although I am unsure if they will work for sizes smaller than HO. The issue is fastening the rail securely to the strips of wood ties. In HO scale spikes can be used, but N scale spiking my not be practical.

i'd love to see these in N-scale.

I've had success in spiking with some very small, photo-etched spikes in N-scale using Code 40 rail. The flexi-sticks, with laser-cut spike holes, would make the process a lot faster and more accurate. The look of real wood ties can't be beat.

who makes the photo-etched spikes you used for the code 40 rail.
I'm holding out on laying the track on my layout untel the flex-ties are released in n scale. (fingers crossed) It will all be code 40.

The P87 group has micro spikes suitable for N scale.

I used the longer ones (0.150" IIRC) as they are easier to pick up & work with. The Xuron tweezernose worked well for me as a "spiking pliers".
