Perhaps I just missed it, but I was going to fabricate a simple crossover. I began by laying out turnouts, but then I found the crossover PDF track template. This was perfect as I'd planned 2" on center for the HO dual mainline track.
Looking at the tie arrangement, however, it's using long ties between the lines (see image, the dark gray ties). Are these available from Fast Tracks or should I be looking at another site? I didn't see them in the wood ties section... Or perhaps they're fabricated from shorter ties? (I can't imagine prototype having ties of such length.)
