I just recived the PointForm Filing Jig For Turnouts for #8. Can I use a it for #6 switches?

The PointForm tools are turnout specific, for example a #6 can only produce accurate #6 frog points. The switch points on all our fixtures use the same angle, and therefore a PointForm tool can produce switchpoints for any size of turnout, but the frog points are all different angles and require a separate tool for each size.
