What is the turn out # equivelant of your fixture? And, to confirm: the radius (I'll assume at least the Marklin standard 490mm (13.25"). What switch # equivelant is that to? I come from the HO and N era where a 6 is minimum and 8 for mainline is prefered.

I'm not an expert in this area, but I've been researching this too.

I took me a while to find out what the numbers mean - a #6 turnout, for example, means the branching track moves out 1 unit every 6 forward. This makes a #6 turnout, 9.46 degrees.

For the standard marklin turnouts, which come out at 13 degrees, this would be a #4.3.

I'm not sure how well a #4 would be as a straight marklin replacement.
