"Theoretically" anything can be done. However, the devil is always in the details. Where I see potential trouble is the oversize width (proportionally) of code 55 rail compared to the prototype. They have the luxury of relatively narrow rail and wide radii. Squeezing in all the "stuff" needed in a slip switch is a challenge, curving it will introduce a whole new batch of variables. Keeping the radii reasonable will be tricky too.
