To help us determine what would suit you best, what size of curved turnout would you prefer?

Just post your scale and the radii you would like to see in a curved turnout....

As I have rather tight space, I would be looking at n-scale 16" / 14" or therabouts. Thanks for all the help.

I honestly think most ppl will use larger curves.
On our clubs layout we use curves from 60 cm (24") and up on the main.
On the new modules we are making now we plan on trying to
keep it at 100cm (40") minimum on the main.
On the branch we will ofcourse use smaller turnouts but I got no
real numbers for you there.

But at the same time ppl will use curved turnouts everywhere so
I must say it will be hard to give you any exact measurements.
How about trying something tha corresponds to the curvature on
the current turnouts.
ie a #10 curve with a diverging #12

Most of the curve on my layout are 30". So a double track at 2" apart I'm looking at 30" and 28". I also have some 26" and 24". I model in HO Scale.

I think you would be safe with 30"/28" and 26"/24"

Since I already have one with a 12 and 13 inch radius. I would like to see one with a large radius, say 20 inch minimum and whatever radius on the outside to maintain a 15 foot track spacing for mainline use.

It should be designed for easy use as a curved crossover, or singly. I would say a number 10 or 11 frog should be used for large steam or long wheel base diesels.
