Will the Mini-jig help with the process of building turnouts and crossovers using the track building fixtures (accuracy and time)? From looking at the photos of it, it should accomodate both the straight and the precurved pieces of the frog.

Looking forward to receiving the crossover fixtures I have on order.

Thanks

Hi,

I am assuming you are referring to our upcoming "Frog Helper" tool. Actually, if you have an assembly fixture, you already have a Frog Helper. The grooves that form the frog area of the fixture will accomplish the same task, as long as the turnout number of the fixture you are using matches the frog angle you wish to construct. We cover this approach in our UG01 documentation.

The advantage of the Frog Helper is that there is clearance under the area being soldered, which will aid in heat transfer to the rails, the fixtures do not require this feature.
