Hi all,

Been working on some N scale goodies the last bit and thought I would post a picture of the work in progress.

This is on code 40 rail on all wood ties, flexible too....

Just thought I'd whet your appetite :wink:

Hi Rob,

Still shooting for a release date this year, and I believe we are on track to meet that goal (pun intended...)

The ballast in the picture is nothing special, just Woodland Scenics fine Grey ballast.

Hi again Tim,

are the ties plywood like the laser cut ties. reason being, they take a grain better than the soft wood ties, I usually distress some of the tie surfaces on the quick sticks and after staining they look awsome.

It looks like these may be a hit!

I just finished my third or fouth #10 turnout. I can already see that everytime I build one, I refine my technique. I'm very good at conventional soldering (electronics by trade), however, somewhat new at resistance soldering. I have been able to select the correct temperature setting and pretty soon will be turning out turnouts!

I'm planning to build a locomotive servicing facility in an area of about 18" x 5'. All of the turnouts will be #10s, and I will need a lot of them! Hence the reason for buying the fixture.

Wow, Tim, these look fantastic. Is this the Pliobond technique?

How's the availability timeframe looking? Any chance of getting some (preproduction?) samples? I'd love to see what this looks like with the photoetched tieplates & joint bars.
