Hello!!

I was wondering if, by simply using a combination of the new TwistTies Kits, cyanoacrylate adhesive, spikes and wood ties (without using any soldering tools) the turnout construction would be easier (or faster)...

In a few words, could I build turnouts without using the Assembly Fixtures (and consequently with no PC board ties)?

And what the difference between the 2 techniques?
How can cyanoacrylate adhesive outperform and outlast
solder?Could we get a better performing and better looking piece of trackwork in this case?

You just described precisely how the TwistTies are designed to work. The TwistTies are a more "traditional" approach to handlaying a turnout, and have the added benefit if being able to build a curved turnout of any radius desired, and can produce a turnout on all wood ties.

While TwistTies are very flexible, using a fixture to build a turnout will be quicker, and usually is easier to get more accurate turnouts. Although the fixtures can only produce a straight turnout, building a turnout on PC board ties has a distinct advantage in that the turnout is very solid and can never go out of gauge.

So we offer two different approaches to the same result, and which one you choose to use is really a matter of personal preference. This is precisely why we developed the TwistTies system.
