Group,

I'm getting ready to design my HO layout. Does anyone have the measurements for the length of a #5, #6, #7, and a #8 turnout? I've looked online and could not find them. At one time I had the information bookmarked, but my bookmarks were deleted. I'm thinking about using #5 switches for my yard area and #7 for my main. It would help if I knew exactly how long these turnouts are so I can plan accordingly.

Side note, does anyone know the thinkness of microengeering ties so I can select the correct tie thickness in my jigs?

Nate,

Check the Fast Tracks Printable Tie Template Library. All scales and frog angles are listed for Fast Tracks turnouts, 3-ways, double-slip, etc. and drawn to NMRA standards.

Do you mean the thickness of PC board ties? If so, the 1/16" will work just fine. Turnouts made with Fast Tracks QuickSticks laser cut ties mate very nicely with Micro Engineering track.
