Are the track tools like the one on the Port Kelsey web site available (Under the trackwork link).
Specifically the one that helps you make handlaid track (has one straight section and two curve radius sections--NOT a turnout mold). I cannot find one on your site. If available , how much? Are they available with slight modification? (On the curve sections, modify with guard rail capability).
If avaiable, how much lead time? ( I'm specifically interested in HO scale using code 83 main rail with code 70 for guard rail )

I am assuming this is the tool you are referring to.

This has long been an addition to the line that we have been wanting to add. Hopefully this year will see it finally show up on the site. The fixture is simple enough, but the PC board ties to match required some specialized equipment to produce. This equipment is almost functional, and should be producing product soon!

Keep an eye on the site for details.

How about some more insight on this fixture? Will it allow to build a piece of track that can be made to fit any radius needed or will there be a specific set of radius sizes per each fixture? Looks like there will also be quickstick pieces available, correct? I would think it would be sorta expensive if the fixtures only made one or two radius sizes, considering a layout can have many different radius sizes needed, even incremental between the inch by inch sizes offered by the sectional manufacturers.

Thanks,
littletree

Greetings,

I am doing pre-design research, and considering my options when it comes time for laying trackwork. For me to realistically attempt doing hand laid track work, I would need several of the assembly plates and without question the one in the picture...

Looking forward to the day it is offered!
