Mae Culpa on that one! But I assure you it is most definitely not because we have not been trying! Every month we seem to set another growth record, and trying to keep up with demand for our current products continues to be a real challenge for us.
Still, one of our favorite things to do is to work on new ideas and products, and it is hard to resist talking about what we are working on, which is probably not a good thing to do as delays in releasing a product that you have been talking about just leads to disappointment.
The upcoming TwistTies product line for N (and other scales) are a good example. They are most definitely not vaporware. The design is pretty much complete and they will be released. But only when we believe we are ready to meet the demand for them without impacting the production of our current line of products.
We would like nothing more than to make the new stuff that we have been working on available right away - but there are practical issues that we have to consider, such as enough production space, an adequate supply of materials, equipment capacity, manpower and so on.
The model railroading industry is littered with many failed companies that grew too big too fast. We are determined not to join them.
Im glad your business is growing and that you are doing well.
I am eagerly awaiting the new twistties. The reason I need them is becouse I am having trouble positioning the tieplates correctly on curves. And I think the twistties with their markings for tieplates will help me with that.
I guess Ill have to wait a bit longer then
