The turnouts are already dcc friendly, cut the gaps for the frog, power the frog through the switch machine contacts and your done. Dcc friendly means the stock rail and point rails have the same power as the rails closest to them. The frog is isolated and separately powered.
On selective control turnouts such as Shinohara the above parameters are not correct for dcc operations. Or in other words the point rails both have the same polarity and depend on contact with the adjacent stock rails for power. This can cause a short if the back of a wheel contacts the other rail.

Rob is right.
However, you can successfully use power-routing turnouts as-is with DCC.
He is correct about the backs of the wheels possibly causing a short, but if your wheels and track are gauged correctly you'll never have to worry about causing a short.
