Have you ever made a fixture to work with double/triple track curves for a 90 degree section?? It would probably take several plates to make it work.
I have made a fixture that will do what you need quite nicely. This fixure will produce sections of curved tracks of unlimited length. The fixture is 18" long and can contain up to 3 diffent radius sections complete with tie pockets for PC board ties spaced every 6-8 ties. You simple pre-bend rail and place it into the fixture, solder it into the ties, remove the completed section and start the next section in the fixture. Using this method you can make a complete circle if you wanted. It works for straight sections as well, producing unlimited lengths of perfectely straight sections of track.

What is the average cost for raw materials when hand building an HO #6 turnout??
An HO #6 turnout will take 10 PC board ties and 1.5 lengths of rail. Plus wood ties, about 35 or so.
